Regulations
In accordance with Alcamo Municipal Council Resolution No. 12 of 10/02/2020, pursuant to Art. 4 of Legislative Decree 23/2011 and Legislative Decree 50/2017, the tourist tax is in effect, intended to finance initiatives in the tourism sector and the improvement of local public services.
RATES
The tourist tax is due for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights and is applied as follows:

Holiday Homes and Apartments: €1.50 per person per night
The amount of the tax is to be paid directly to the accommodation facility at check-in.
EXEMPTIONS
The following are exempt from paying the tax:
✅ Children under 14 years of age
✅ Off-site students enrolled in schools in the Municipality of Alcamo
✅ Workers staying for professional reasons (with proof from the employer)
✅ Companions of patients hospitalized in healthcare facilities (maximum 2 per patient)
✅ Persons with recognized disabilities ≥ 50% (with certification)
✅ Personnel of the Armed Forces, Police, and Firefighters on duty
✅ Participants in events and initiatives sponsored by the Municipality of Alcamo
To benefit from the exemptions, guests must present a self-declaration or a document attesting to the right to exemption.
PAYMENT METHODS
The collected amount will be paid to the Municipality of Alcamo as required by current regulations. The facility will issue a separate receipt for the tourist tax amount.
